Hi,

I’m Sam Mikel. I was raised LDS in Vernal, Utah, third generation Mormon, (grandparents on both sides were converted in England), and went to Utah State. Upon finding a book about Mormonism in, heaven forbid, another church, I read it because I was so angry about them having books in their library that picked on the LDS Church. Well that was 15 years ago and it started a long, sometimes painful journey out of the church.

Members of The Exmormon Foundation's Board of Directors serve as an all-volunteer organizing body that coordinates the yearly conference and manages day-to-day administration of the Foundation and member dues.
